Denise’s approachable style puts others at ease. Clients and past course participants often comment about her excellent teaching abilities. She enjoys sharing her vast financial knowledge and experiences with business owners, in particular women business owners, and individuals.
A Georgia native, she is a degreed Accounting graduate from the Harbert Business School at Auburn University and was active on campus. Her experience combines key roles in an International Public Accounting “Big Four” firm, Fortune 500 corporations, and hands-on roles in privately held SMBs all focused on improved financial performance and profitability. Denise leveraged that experience to found her own coaching and consulting business in 1998, seeing the need for solid financial assistance in small businesses.
She’s currently a member of the Georgia Society of CPAs State Leadership Council working with a variety of community organizations, including serving on the scholarship and finance committees. Denise believes in giving back to her community, animal welfare, financial literacy, and lifelong learning. She maintains her active CPA license and completes the annual requirement for 40 hours of continuing education, since she’s a learning enthusiast.
